about
us

We are artists, executives, journalists, producers, teachers and technicians.

We live in Almada, Montemor-o-Novo and Porto.

We believe in closer relationships that can only be realised over time.

We also believe in the importance of uniting different experiences of knowledge in the same structure, as a way of bringing more of the world to everyone.

That’s why we formed Sete Anos in September 2021, after the creation of the last piece in the Sete Anos Sete Peças cycle… because it made sense for us to continue to bring this thought to life.

Although we are a new structure, we inherited the body of work developed by choreographer Cláudia Dias. We are carrying this heritage into the future.
We intend to intervene glocally, in the city, in the country and internationally. We work in artistic creation, cultural programming and education through art.

We are committed to contemporary artistic creation and to:
Promoting access to it; The defence of people’s cultural rights with respect for the constitutional principle; The inclusion of young people and more vulnerable groups via artistic practices; And artistic creation by women.

We want to grow in a sustainable way and develop our activity in a constant and lasting way, based on stable and secure foundations, seeking the support of partners who are committed in the medium and long term. To this end, our principle is to work as a network, always seeking to share resources and knowledge.
